IT Band Tendonitis is often mistaken for knee troubles: pain located on the lower, outside part of the knee. The wonderful thing is that with some stretching, manipluation of the tissue and some strengthening of the gluteus medius muscle group the seemingly troublesome knee pain will be alleviated.
